WW1 Jacket!
This original World War 1 jacket was worn by a Sergeant of the 8th Battery Australian Field Artillery. This is just one example of the many uniforms, medals and memorabilia that are on display in the military sections of this museum.

'Sydney Belle' This ship brought the last Kanakas to Maryborough from the South Sea Islands on the 20th October 1903. The Kanakas were used in the district to cut sugar cane from 1867 to 1903.


This Honour Board represents the 36 Maryborough men who served in South Africa during the Boer War. 1899 - 1902
